Eight years ago, Bob Evans Jr., President of Evans Marketing Group, Inc. (EMG) a multi-faceted sports marketing firm owned and operated by Olympic athletes, established AthleteSource after advising several production companies on Olympic commercial and film projects. Positive feedback and encouragement from industry producers & directors lead the way for AthleteSource to initially become an established sports talent agency in Los Angeles, CA with 3 Time Olympian, Tracy Evans as its driving force.

However over the past 4 years, Tracy has transitioned AthleteSource into a casting agency that specializes in casting athletes in the commercial, print and film industry. This transition was prompted by Tracy’s interest and ability to work more closely with Producers and Directors as a Casting Director helping them to find and cast the appropriate athletic talent for each project. With Tracy's extensive sports background she has a natural eye to cast true athletes who can correctly portray the sport at hand much more quickly and realistically than others in her field.

AthleteSource continues to also act as a Sport Consultant helping to research and advise Producers, Directors, etc. on projects starting with the bidding process in the areas of athlete talent, technical advising, stunt coordination, and location scouting for sports-specific productions.
