Company | Tracy's Bio

Tracy Evans, a 3-time Olympian (1994, 1998, 2002) in the sport of Freestyle Skiing/Aerials grew up Hornell, NY in a very avid sports family and with a true love for sports in general. She has skied since she could walk and was a competitive Gymnast and Equestrian Rider.

Her brother, Bob Evans, who was also an aerialist on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team and a 2-Time Olympic Coach, introduced her to the sport of Freestyle Aerials in 1989 and there was no looking back despite the fact that she swore after watching him do Aerials that she would never do a crazy sport like that! However, with Tracy's background in skiing along with her trampoline and gymnastic abilities, Aerials came quite naturally! Tracy competed on the World Cup circuit for many years and achieved many top 10 results, always pushing herself to perform some of the most difficult triple back flips that still only a handful of women in the world compete with today! However, after 8 years on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team and 2 Olympics under her belt Tracy, frustrated and burned out, retired.

Needing a break from Park City, UT and the ski world, she moved to Los Angeles and opened a sports talent agency under the name of AthleteSource, a division of Evans Marketing Group, Inc. However, in 2000 Tracy felt like she still had some unfinished business in her sport, so she decided to make a comeback for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, UT. It was a difficult decision to make as she wanted to continue to build AthleteSource in Los Angeles but her coaches wanted her back in Park City, UT to train. With that she decided to split her time for a while, putting AthleteSource only temporarily on the back burner as the Olympics approached. Tracy did make the 2002 Olympic Team and was able to accomplish her “comeback” goals and retire for the second time around on her own terms and as the 2002 U.S. National Champion.

Tracy now has all of her attention focused on positioning herself and AthleteSource CASTING as the premier Sports Casting Director in Commercial, Print and Film Industry. Tracy's main office in Los Angeles, CA but also has a branch office in Park City, UT, home of the Sundance Film Festival and many Olympic Commercial Productions!
